Jeongro Park, a native of South Korea, is a distinguished pianist renowned for his extensive performances across South Korea and prominent European venues in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Poland, Romania and Portugal.
He was invited to the ‘Bechstein Young Professional Köln’ 2018 und 2020, ‘Klaviersommer Geilenkirchen‘, ‘Festival Musicale E Lucevan le stelle‘‚ ‘Ischia Classica Festival‘, ‘I Giovedi Musicali di Sant’Antonio ‘, ‘Santa Margherita Festival‘, ‘Festival Internacional Santa Cecilia Porto‘ as a Solist. And he premiered his a few own arrangements at the ‘Rhein-Ruhr Klavier Festival’ in 2023.
His remarkable virtuosity has garnered widespread acclaim and numerous accolades, including top honors at prestigious international piano competitions.
Beyond the concert stage, Jeongro Park extends his musical passion through teaching engagements. He has significantly enriched pre-college education and delivered diverse courses at prestigious institutions such as Robert Schumann University Düsseldorf Cologne and the University of Music and Dance Cologne. Through his performances and pedagogical pursuits, Mr. Park ignites inspiration with his profound musicality, extraordinary skill, and unwavering commitment to his art. Presently affiliated with ‘Weltklassik am Klavier’, he continues to mesmerize audiences with soul-stirring performances.
He won the first prize at the D.Scarlatti International Piano Competition, Opus Artis International Piano Competition, Rospigliosi International Piano Competition, Karl-Bergemann Sightreading Competition, 45th Palma d’Oro International Piano Competition, Val tidone International Piano Competition (the 1st prize was not awarded), Euregio Piano Award, and got the second prize at the Valsesia International Piano Competition. He got the third prize at the Giovanni Colafemmina International Piano Competition, Arcangelo International Piano Competition, San donà di Piave International Piano Competition, Karl-Robert Kreiten Piano Competition, got the Fourth Prize at the Murcia International Piano Competition, and lastlyhe got the Fifth Prize at the Lyon International Piano Competition.
He has appeared as soloist or performed with esteemed orchestras like the Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Hanyang University Orchestra, Yonsei Severance Orchestra, Western Symphony Orchestra, Orfeo Stillo Orchestra, Città di Grosetto Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese, Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra and Filarmonica de Stat Sibiu.
Mr. Park holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in piano from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, where he studied under Professor Yongkyu Lee and Eunsoo Son. He later pursued his Master of Music degree at the Cologne University of Music and Dance under the guidance of Professors Josef Anton Scherrer and Sheila Arnold. Mr. Park has completed another master’s degree in both piano solo and song interpretation at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (HfMT Cologne) under the direction of Professors Sheila Arnold and Stefan Irmer. Currently, he is pursuing the Konzertexamen in both song interpretation at the HfMT Cologne under Prof. Stefan Irmer and solo piano at the Hochschule für Musik Theater und Medien Hannover under Prof. Bernd Goetzke.
